Walk On Water (WOW) quote for today

"…the family, based on the marriage of a man and a woman, is not a simple social convention, but rather the fundamental cell of every society. Consequently, policies which undermine the family threaten human dignity and the future of humanity itself...
More generally, and with particular reference to the West, I am convinced that legislative measures which not only permit but at times even promote abortion for reasons of convenience or for questionable medical motives compromise the education of young people and, as result, the future of humanity."
~ Pope Benedict XVI, Address of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to the Members of the Diplomatic Corps Accredited to the Holy See, January 9, 2012~

Canticle of Zechariah

Blessed be the LORD,
The GOD of Israel;
He has come to His people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty Savior,
Born of the house of His servant David.
 Through His Holy Prophet,
He promised of old
That He would save us from our enemies
From the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our Fathers
And to remember His Holy Covenant.

This was the oath He swore to our father Abraham:
To set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship Him without fear, Holy and righteous in His sight All the days of our life.

You, My child shall be called
The prophet of the Most High,
For you will go before the Lord to prepare His way,
To give his people knowledge of salvation
By the forgiveness of their sins.

In the tender compassion of our Lord
The dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness
And the shadow of death,
And to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the HOLY SPIRIT, as it was in the beginning.
is now, and will be forever.
AMEN.

Good morning, GOD is with US!

 Morning Prayer

Grant, Lord, that in the service of our fellow-men we may always reflect your own gentleness and love, and so imitate Saint Francis de Sales, whom you made all things to all men for the saving of souls.
In this we pray, through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ONE GOD for ever and ever.
AMEN.
