Walk On Water (WOW) quote for today, January 18, 2011 (Fifth Day of the Nine Day Novena for the Unborn)

Walk On Water (WOW) quote for today

2271: Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

"You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish."

GOD, the LORD of Life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding Life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves.  Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: Abortion and infaticide are abominable crimes.

Canticle of Zechariah
Blessed be the LORD,
The GOD of Israel;
He has come to His people and set them free.
He has raised up for us a mighty Savior,
Born of the house of His servant David.
 Through His Holy Prophet,
He promised of old
That He would save us from our enemies
From the hands of all who hate us.
He promised to show mercy to our Fathers
And to remember His Holy Covenant.

This was the oath He swore to our father Abraham:
To set us free from the hands of our enemies,
Free to worship Him without fear, Holy and righteous in His sight All the days of our life.

You, My child shall be called
The prophet of the Most High,
For you will go before the Lord to prepare His way,
To give his people knowledge of salvation
By the forgiveness of their sins.

In the tender compassion of our Lord
The dawn from on high shall break upon us,
to shine on those who dwell in darkness
And the  shadow of death,
And to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son,
and to the HOLY SPIRIT, as it was in the beginning.
is now, and will be forever.
AMEN.

Good morning, GOD is with US!
Morning Prayer:

True Light of the world, Lord Jesus Christ, as you enlighten all men for their salvation, give us grace, we pray, to herald your coming by preparing the ways of justice and of peace.
We ask this through our LORD JESUS CHRIST, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the HOLY SPIRIT, ONE GOD, FOREVER and ever.  AMEN!
